How to Market Ebooks

Why market eBooks?

The internet is flooded with all kinds of eBooks.

I use them and I am sure you have read them as well.

I am talking about eBooks and there is one to cover just about any subject you can think of.

eBooks about cooking, cleaning, yoga, golf, cars, affiliate marketing and anything else you can think of.

Some are long; some are short.

How can eBooks help market your business and website?

With all these eBooks out there surely everything has been written about every topic right?

Of course not.

Even if another eBook has the same information yours does no one else has your perspective, your style, your voice.

Whatever you write about, your eBook will be uniquely yours.

Only you know what you think and feel about a topic.

Only you can put it together in your own special way.

Your eBook is personal.

It’s your take on whatever.

Using eBooks as a FREE give away, bonus offer, or even to give other webmasters the writes to give them away can cause a viral marketing effect can be a powerful part of your SEO Internet Marketing campaign.

There are many places online to list your eBooks for free like eBook distribution websites as well as giving them away as a free bonus gift for an email subscription on your own website.

Now the first thing you may want to do in the eBook development process is to include your website address, live link to your website and even list a small ad on every eBook page.

Leave contact information like an email address, business phone number or whatever other information you want to supply in order to receive leads from your eBooks.

One simple eBook can generate a viral marketing effect which has a long-lasting return in traffic to your website.

As the eBook spreads across the internet it creates value to your marketing platform that can get your brand tremendous exposure.

Going back to eBook distribution sites, you can submit your eBook to hundreds of FREE eBook sites once again creating Viral Marketing.

Imagine the impact to your traffic by using these distribution sites to promote and pass on your eBooks in their directories.

Build your brand through eBooks and build a professional label for your business. Go one step further and sell your eBooks yourself for another income stream.

At the same time producing Internet Marketing for your website that could spread like wild fire. Most eBooks can be created very easily either in PDF or some other eBook writing software, some are FREE.

Start writing your instruction books, tutorials, how to, stories, or what ever and open up a new Internet Marketing avenue.

Writing an ebook step by step:

They say the best way to making money on the Internet, is to create your own eBook.

That’s a simple statement, but do you know what is involved. I’ll try to explain what I have learned and I am learning to while I’m creating my own eBook.

If you know what you want to create, you’ve already on your way. But, if you’re not sure what information you have stored in your years of living well, it can be difficult.

I’ve found the best way to brainstorm is to write your ideas, experiences and knowledge down on a piece of paper then do research to determine what people are looking for on the net.

To determine if your product, idea, or info-knowledge will fly you must do research. Go to Jaaxy Keyword research and see how many times people in the month were looking for what you want to write about.

This will give you an idea if it is a viable product. Also do a search in Google and Bing for your keywords, and see what turns up.

Investigate some of the sites, you may be surprised that you have a complete new slant on the information you want to present in an E-book which is a good thing.

If you think your eBook may fly, then it is time to write.  Create it in HTML or a txt format, using Word or Notepad. Next, you can create an eBook cover. Use Canva which is free to use.

If you don’t find these free eBook covers to your liking then you can purchase software to create your own eBook cover or pay someone else to do it for you.

Once you have your eBook completed, it is time to get it out to the masses. I would suggest submitting your eBook to ClickBank or Payloadz.

However, if this is your first eBook, I would strongly suggest that you give Payloadz a closer look.

From my own research it is reasonable, you upload your eBook to their server (which eliminates your need to make your eBook available to the customer).

The payment goes through your PayPal account. So why not publish a traditional paper book.

Well you can. If you choose a topic the publisher is looking for. If you can muster up the minimum number of chapters the publisher requires. If you can find a publisher who thinks your writing will sell.

The world of traditional publishing is not for the faint of heart or the person who thinks they might want to be a writer.

Well what about self publishing. A good choice. If you don’t mind paying for editing.

Then paying for printing. Then buying a minimum number of you own book. All this is before you even start marketing.

The internet provides a quick, easy and cheap way to get your book out there.

  • Your book itself.
  • With an eBook, after purchasing software, your only expense is marketing.
  • No printing fees.
  • No editing fees.

You control the length of your eBook, the layout, it’s all you.

The ultimate form of self expression.

Plus, you don’t have to convince a publisher how great your idea is.

You are in total control.

You have the first and last say on everything.

So what are you waiting for.

Do the research, write your eBook and market it to the world.
