  1. You have reviewed some tools for affiliate marketing that provide huge amounts of value for the cost and as an affiliate marketer gets the base of his business up and running, these are all ones that will help you scale up your business and work smarter rather than harder.

I have used all of them at one time or another, and as with autoresponders, switched as times goes on and new tools come along. These are great ones to start with though and they all deliver as promised and are not overly expensive. As a business owner, you really need to plan for these expenses as you grow.

If you wanted to start with one or two only, which would you recommend to use? I know that many affiliate marketers will want to minimize costs when starting out, so perhaps they want to select one or two that will give them the best ROI. It is hard to select, they are all good. Great post and useful information.

    • Hello David,

Thank You for your postive feedback.

I am a new to affiliate marketing so i have not had the pleasure of using the more expensive tools. I too need to keep the costs down.

I am writing about these other platfoms in anticipation of one day being able to afford them.

I keep it simple with using Canva and Google Analytics and of course Google webmaster tools which keeps me more than update with a new website.

      Regards Shane.

  2. Nice collection of tools!  I really liked the Buffer suggestion, as I’ve been looking at ways of being more productive with my different social media accounts.  That is a simple way to efficiently blast out updates and announcements to all the different social media sites.

I’ve also dabble with Canva and started using it for Pinterest with some success.  I hadn’t heard of the back link tool called SemRush, thanks for pointing me in that direction.  Very good collection of tools here!

    • Hello,

      Appreciate the feedback.

I also use Canva as a free option.

The Buffer tool is not one i had heard of before until now.

Happy you were able to get some good information out of my post.

      Regards Shane.

  3. Well. they are some powerful toosl for beginners and pro’s a like. I really like the look of buffer and have never seen it before. Than you for the introduction. Social Media is very important for beginner marketers to learn and incorporate for both SEO and website traffic if you want to see a reward on your efforts sooner than later:).

    Great Post.

    • Hello Rob,

Thank You for reading my article.

They are some interesting tools to know about.

It was the first time i had heard of buffer, not a tool i use maybe later when i get more experienced.

      Regards Shane.

  4. Hi,

Thanks for sharing this article I’ve read the descriptions of the tools and I want to try some of them but I can’t afford the price for these services. Also don’t you think some of the services like SEMRush and Ahrefs are a bit overkill for a blog with about a dozen posts?

Personally, I used Canva to create visual contents. I specifically use it to create blog banners and Pinterest graphics and I really love it. I am also familiar with Google Analytics but aside from page view numbers, I honestly don’t know how to use it. It would be nice if you can share and in-depth tutorial on how to use Google Analytics.

I also have a starter account for Buffer but I stopped using it because they don’t post on Pinterest for starter account and that is the only social media I am active on.

What do you recommend should I get first? And do you have free alternatives? What do you use? Why do you use it and how is it helping you to grow your blog.

    • Hello John,

Thank You for taking the time to read my post.

I also use Canva and google analytics.

It does not hurt to know what else is available.

Like most people i can’t afford these other platforms.

Maybe one day when i’m in a financial position to do so i will no what is on offer.

To learn and grow my blog i use wealthy affiliate, it is free to sign up and no credit card is required.

      Regards Shane.

  5. Just as any beginner would tell you that starting up a business isn’t always as easy as you think. Some businesses don’t give you clear details on how to get things going. I remember one time years ago, I needed help putting together my website (I never built one before). I sought help, but I got nothing. Do you think I was scammed? Probably. I learnt the hard way.

Beginners have to really investigate a business before doing any heavy investing. Money is hard to come by. Make every dollar count and do the best you can.

    • Hello RJ,

Thank You for reading my article.

I am also in the beginning stages of affiliate marketing.

      I currently use free tools.

Hopefully i will be able to invest in some of these tools or others, depending on what works for me.

      Regards Shane.
